Please make your reservation by telephoning us on 0709 2312648 and we will verbally confirm your booking which is then held in your name for a period of 7 days. This initial reservation will be confirmed in writing and a Booking Form and a copy of the Booking Conditions will be sent to you.
Complete and send the booking form to us together with the specified non-returnable deposit. This may be required in Euros, or £ Sterling, according to the wishes of the owner of the property concerned. Payment in Euros may be made either in cash (sent Special Delivery as this is covered by insurance and a signature is required upon receipt – please refer to the prices section for further details) or by a cheque in Euros made payable to ‘F. Hodges’. This is easy to arrange through your bank, but they make a charge for this service – and it varies from bank to bank. It is important to ensure that the issuing bank has an affiliation with a French bank, otherwise encashment charges, plus French VAT on the encashment charges (at 19.6%), may be levied.
Please note that the booking will not be considered as definite until the deposit is received. Receipt of the deposit will be acknowledged by the raising of an Invoice/Statement.
The remainder of the rental is payable eight weeks before departure. This payment must be by cheque, unless otherwise stated on your Invoice/Statement, and made payable direct to the owner of the property concerned (either in Euros or £ Sterling). Details of the owner's name will be given on your final Invoice/Statement.
Cleaning/Breakages Deposit
The villas are all privately owned and do not have a cleaner. If the property is not left in the condition it was found upon arrival, then a charge will be made for cleaning.
The cleaning/breakages deposit must be paid as specified on your invoice/statement. This may be in the form of a cheque (which will be cashed), which is payable at the time the final payment is made OR it may be payable in either cash or euros at the start of your holiday when the keys to the property are received by you. This cleaning/breakages deposit will be either refunded upon your departure, or within two weeks of the end of your holiday ~ subject to internal inspection of the property and the return of the keys.
Arrival and Departure
The villa will be available from 4pm upon the day of arrival and departure is required by 10am on the last day of your holiday. If not suitable, these times may be varied by prior arrangement only.
Pets
Pets are accepted by prior arrangement only, subject to the property owner's permission.
Expecting Visitors During your Stay?
Should you be expecting a visit from your friends or family this should not be a problem, providing that this has been notified in advance in order that the owner may be kept informed. This must be done even if the number of people staying in the villa does not exceed the number of beds available. It is also essential for safety reasons. The use of a tent or caravan anywhere on the premises is strictly forbidden.
Discounted flights, car hire, ferry crossings, hotels etc.
